What information do we collect? Index

We collect information from you when you register on our site for the convention. When registering on our site, as appropriate, you will be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, birth date, zip code, and sex. You will also need to choose a username and password. You also will be provided with optional fields to enter your address, city, and phone number.

What do we use your information for? Index

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

To process your registration
Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of creating and supplying your registration badge, except as required by law.

To send periodic emails
The email address you provide will only be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your registration. Your email will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever.

To provide support
The email address or phone number you provide, will only be used by registration staff to provide registration support and is only available to registration staff. The email address or phone number you provide will only be made available to other departments if you have submitted your information for the relevant department. For example, registering for artist alley will make your information available to the art department for support.

How do we protect your information? Index

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or access your personal information.

Your account is password protected so that unauthorized third parties do not have access to your personal information. We recommend that you do not give your password out to anyone. We store all passwords in encrypted format and will never be able to tell you your password. We will NEVER ask you for your password. We will never need it to provide support for your registration. Remember to log out of your account by clicking the Logout button or close your browser window. This ensures that others cannot access your account or personal information if you share a computer with someone else or are using a computer in a public place.

We limit which of our staff have adequate permissions to view your personally identifiable information.

Do we use cookies? Index

Yes. "Cookies" are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computers hard drive through your web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.

We also use session cookies to be able to identify the user after sign in and be able to save edited data correctly.
